The Metropolitan Police have released body-worn camera footage captured by two officers who detained a man suspected of stabbing two people in Golders Green, north London.
The short clip appears to show the suspect approaching officers before they deployed a Taser. Officers can be heard repeatedly shouting "drop the knife" as the man collapses to the ground; the commands continue while they restrain him.
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley told reporters the officers arrived within minutes and praised their actions, saying their response "undoubtedly prevented further injury and saved lives."
