Despite ongoing efforts to disable illicit websites, the fake TikTok Shop remains operational and a threat to consumers. In October, it continued to be the most frequently blocked phishing domain, accounting for 18% of the total phishing incidents tracked over the first three weeks of the month.

As the Black Friday shopping rush approaches, the fact that this counterfeit site is still active raises concerns about the growing sophistication of these phishing scams.
